Alison - Principal Teacher
Alison, our Principal teacher at Pymble Physie and Dance, has been doing Physie and dance for as long as she can remember.
Alison has over 20 years teaching experience. This is her 8th year with Pymble Physie and Dance, teaching our junior girls from 5-12 yrs, the Seniors and Ladies. Alison still competes in the Over 40s Ladies section herself. She has successfully made National finals many times and been a National placegetter 5 times. As well as her individual achievements, she has always competed in teams, many of whom have been awarded the national age group championship and/or national places. Outside of teaching at Pymble, Alison works as an IT Cloud Architect for one of the major consulting firms. She is also part of the APDA management team, supporting them in the role of the IT Manager. Alison loves everything about APDA; the progressive and challenging syllabus, modern music, quality judging system and most importantly, the amazing APDA community. Alison enjoys the fun class atmosphere and friendships made across the entire club at Pymble Physie and Dance, and is super proud of each and every member and can’t wait to see what goals they all achieve each year! |
Audrey - Junior Teacher
Our Junior teacher Audrey has been dancing the physie life since the age of 4 and has competed with Pymble Physie and Dance for over 10 years now. Audrey joined our teaching team in 2020 and has been a wonderful addition.
When she is not teaching or practicing her Physie, Audrey is currently a 3rd year student at UNSW, completing a Bachelor of Architecture with a passion for creativity and individuality. Audrey also studied HSC Dance and has successfully completed several levels of Ballet Australasia examinations. Audrey’s greatest Physie achievement was placing fourth at Nationals in the Intermediate Senior National final at the ICC Sydney in 2019. But for Audrey Physie is not just about competing; it’s an opportunity to learn perseverance and resilience, which she has plenty of, as well as strength, coordination and musicality. Due to Uni commitments, Audrey currently teaches our classes when available and can’t wait to assist our girls with the amazing new syllabus! |
